Importance of Storytelling in Indigenous Cultures - Haida Stories

Indigenous storyteller, author and educator Kung Jaadee will share about the importance of the storytelling tradition among First Nations People as a way to share protocols, legends and cultural teachings to their families. She will also share some Haida Raven legends including "Raven's Feast," which has been published into a kids book by the same name, as well as a couple of songs in Xaad Kil (Haida language) with her drum. She will also be available to answer any questions from parents and educators.
